Sales Co-ordinator Trainee

Position Summary

Responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative duties for the Sales Team ensuring all communication, correspondence and management reporting is executed in a timely manner. Reporting into the Director of Sales and Marketing and the Director of Sales, providing a comprehensive, confidential support to the sales team and assisting in key projects and other ad hoc activities to ensure an effective operation.

Trainee will have an exposure in assisting specific Sales and Marketing Segments i.e Corporate Sales, MICE, Leisure Sales and Conference & Events, in order for the student to get more exposure to the duties within each specific sector. Some of the main tasks within the Sales and Marketing team would include the following:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Research on National and International Accounts
• Assisting Sales Team with Account Management and Reporting
• Assisting with ‘Bring Back Old Business’ (Corporate & MICE)
• Compiling and maintaining corporate databases
• Check rooming lists
• Various sales tasks, like competition analysis, profile merging, MIA flight schedule, etc.
• Assist with business card collection

Whist working for the Company there will be access to a wide variety of confidential information concerning the Company, guests and employees.

Other Information
Training sessions carried out by our Training manager would include;

• Orientation
• Craftmenship of Care

However, as our interns are here to learn as much as they can, we can also offer shadowing in departments of their choice in order to gain a greater understanding of that department. Moreover all internship starts with Orientation Training and Craftsmanship of Care however all students are encourage to attend to any other training offered by our training manager while they are here with us.
