The Lido Manager will supervise all the Lido activities and manage the Lido staff.  He / She will also be handling members’ requirements/complaints.  He / She needs to make sure that cleaning is up to standard and co-ordinates with F&B to be able to clear and set up the area when functions occur.

This position calls for an outgoing individual with a positive attitude and excellent organisational and communication skills.

 

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring employees under direct supervision are properly trained in their duties
  • Holding training & safety meetings for all employees under direct supervision
  • Assisting in tracking attendance, balancing cash drawer & deposit as directed
  • Ensuring proper operating condition of all equipment
  • Maintaining discipline at the lido and supervising all staff enforcing policies
  • Confidently dealing with guest concerns with the ability to resolve problems, show empathy and understanding
  • Reacting to Guest Feedback to respond quickly to address areas for improvement
  • Achieving and exceeding targets and key performance indicators
  • Other duties as deemed necessary or as required
     

The ideal candidate must:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English and another European language
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the Micros system
  • The ability to work on own initiative and supervise others
  • Be willing to work flexible hours which may include evenings and weekends
  • The responsibility for staff punctuality and grooming
  • Be accountable for the cleanliness of the whole Lido area including cloakrooms
  • Health & Safety SOPs are always followed
  • Hold that flair with all the customers leading towards a memorable experience
