Verdi Marina Hotel, a stylish luxury destination in St. George Bay, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Front Office Assistant Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional looking to grow within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Front Office, including reception, concierge, and guest services.
- Support and train Front Office team members, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism.
- Provide personalized guest experiences by addressing inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly.
- Assist in managing room inventory, processing reservations, and handling financial transactions.
- Resolve guest complaints efficiently, maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the front desk area maintains a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Entry Requirements:
- Minimum two years’ experience in a Front Office role, preferably in a supervisory or assistant managerial capacity.
- Professional demeanor with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in English (additional language proficiency is an asset).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Adherence to company grooming and presentation standards.
